Programs and Services: Home Based Early Learning Program
Hope’s home based program for families with children from birth to three years of age provides special instruction by certified teachers. The philosophy of Early Intervention incorporates strategies and support to families who are parenting their young children with special needs.
Teachers recognize that each family is unique and requires thoughtful, effective interventions. Visits are usually an hour long at a time agreed upon by the family and teacher. Communication, problem solving and motor development are encouraged through individualized play activities.
Each month, the teachers at Hope offer a play group at a community location such as a playground, the Children’s Discovery Workshop or Hope Early Learning Program in Williamsport.
